Air-Scent Appoints Stephen Chung Quality Assurance Director
Building upon our commitment to quality, Air-Scent International hires Stephen Chung to oversee quality control and further improve customer satisfaction.
Air-Scent International, a developer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-quality, professional air freshener dispensers, refills, and restroom hygiene supplies, has announced the addition of Stephen Chung as Director of Quality Assurance.
In this position, Chung oversees the entire spectrum of products and processes throughout the Air-Scent organization, including logistics, sales, and product research and development. He also manages regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with revised national and worldwide requirements.
“His background in quality control, product development, and regulatory affairs makes him an especially skilled addition to the Air-Scent team,” said Air-Scent VP of Business Development Raymond Czapko. “Stephen will help us meet the increasing quality demands of our customers, as well as the shifting regulatory landscape. He will also continue to improve the customer service experience, help us create more refined products, and use our customers’ feedback to ensure that Air-Scent continues to deliver high-quality odor-control products,” Czapko said.
Chung, a 20-year veteran of the fragrance and flavor industry, joins Air-Scent from Phoenix Aromas and Essential Oils, where he served as the Technical Director. While there, he was responsible for the final approval of all materials and supervised quality control, regulatory, and product development. Prior to Phoenix Aromas, he was an analytical chemist for J. Manheimer/Mastertaste. Stephen started his career at Takasago as a Quality Control Chemist.
Chung holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He and his wife, Michelle, his son, Dylan, and his daughter, Abigail, live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
